Below is a link to lectures by an MIT professor that they recommend for AP Biology. The link goes straight to the lectures about the mechanisms of evolution (because that's what we're learning about right now in class). However, feel free to play around. There are some good resources here to assist your learning.

Virtual Fly Lab

After going to the webpage, READ the introductory information and directions. Make sure you understand what is going on before actually performing the lab.

Once you have read and understand, you choose two flies to mate, and the website will give you the result of the cross. This page will also give you some questions to answer. Make sure you answer the questions to all of the questions. Do this for four different crosses of your choice. Make sure you have your answers ready to hand in by Wednesday, February 17, 2010.
